A popular roll film camera from the early 1930s capturing 16 3×4 cm images on 127 roll film.It was sold in many slightly different variations. I believe this to be Variant 2c : Variant 2C film advance knob bears inscription GERMANY, pressure plate has a notch on the left and right; leatherette on the lens board is embossed; lens bears a serial number.
Condition.The camera is overall in very nice condition with a lovely patina of use on the leather. Bellows in good condition, light tight with no splits. The shutter blinds are also in good order and the shutter is firing crisply on all speeds. However the shutter is no longer self capping (see pic 11) so you do need to have a lens cap in place when cocking the shutter to avoid exposing the film. Note that you need to set the desired shutter speed before cocking the shutter.The lens is clean and clear to an unaided visual inspection but displays a very light haze when subjected to a flashlight inspection.Apertures and focus setting working correctly
I see no reason why the camera could not be used should you wish to do so. It comes with its correct 127 take up spool and a home made leather case.NB. Winning bidder please supply phone number and email address if possible to give to courier.
