GOERZ COAT POCKET TENAX – 100mm f4.5 GOERZ DOGMAR LENS. COMES WITH LEATHER CASE
The less usual Coat Pocket Tenax strut type folding camera made between 1912 and 1925 to take 6.5 x 9 images on single plates or film packs. The camera is often seen with the 90mm f6.8 Dagor lens . This example carries the faster 100mm f4.5 Dogmar
Shutter speeds are 1 sec – 1/250th +B+Z(T), The speeds below 1/50th sec are running slowly but not sticking
The lens has haze, no scratches but some spots of what look to be fungus. It may well clean up nicely if front and rear elements are unscrewed.Leather bellows are in good condition and appear light tight.Cosmetically the camera is good for its age with no major damage to the leatherette or black enamel. See pics.The camera comes with a non original ground glass back and an original leather Tenax case.This item is being sold strictly as a collectible with faults and condition as stated so no returns please.
