This scarce 1/2 plate camera has an unusual brass swing back and folding brass front standard supports.It also extends backwards.There are no splits to the deep plum coloured leather bellows, however, the corners and creases have a little fading.The glass plate is missing, but would have measured 4 3/4 inches by 6 1/2 inches, I believe this is 1/2 plate size.The mahogany body is free from any major splits or losses, however, the base board has a crack across part of it, there are also the scuffs and scratches you would expect from an item of this age.The mahogany has taken on a fabulous depth of colour and patina.The swinging back is operated by a brass part turntable this works well, the rest of the brass work appears to be complete and in working order.The camera opens well and folds away as it should. I have tried to show this in the photographs.The lens board is missing.
