This is a Halina Paulette Electric 35mm camera, manufactured in Hong Kong from 1967 to circa 1980 and sold under numerous different brand names such as Prinz Mastermatic III, Brenner Electric, etc. Unfortunately the label showing the brand is missing. This has a selenium exposure meter and 1:2.8 45mm Halinar Anastigmat lens, with shutter speeds of B plus 1/30th, 1/60th, 1/125th, and 1/250th second. There is flash synchronization at all speeds. The meter isn’t coupled directly to the camera, but shows an EV value which is transferred to the lens and shutter by changing speed or aperture. ASA 25-400 film is supported. I’m supplying it with its original case, but no other accessories.
This is in good mechanical condition, and speeds, aperture and flash synchronization are working correctly, but there is some fungus in the interior of the lens, and dirt in the viewfinder. I think that it will still give results, but I haven’t tested it with film. Additionally, the leatherette is peeling slightly on the back, and the case metalwork is a little rusted. Accordingly I’m selling it for SPARES / REPAIRS only and will not accept returns.
