Selling my late brother’s old 35mm film camera equipment.
I remember him having this when I was a teenager, so I’m guessing it all dates from the 1970s.
I know nothing about cameras or photography (as you can tell from the poor standard of my photos above), so please bear with me!
It lived in the back of his wardrobe for the past 30-0dd years. As far as I know, everything is in working order.
The job lot comprises:
The camera body is a Zenit-B, made in the old USSR (Soviet Republic) and comes with its original Zenit hard leather case.
The lens on the camera is a Helios-44-2 2/58 7168665. USSR made.
The next lens is an Optomax Telephoto 1:2.8 f = 135mm No.R283240. Made in Japan, with hard leather case.
The big lens is an Derek Gardner Optics1:6.3 f = 400mm No.19759. Made in Japan, with hard leather case.
All the lenses are screw fitting to fit the Zenit camera body.
Next up is a Sangamo Weston Master V light meter, with hard leather case and an Invercone, also in a leather case.
Finally comes a Boots pocket sized mini tripod in it’s original shop box and with its original vinyl slip case. Closed down it’s 7 1/2″ (190mm) and fully open it’s 44″ (1200mm).
I don’t expect that this is all worth very much nowadays. I’m really just looking to move it on to someone who can use it, rather than binning it, which would be a shame.
I’ve set the opening bid at a price that will cover postage and ebay fees so that I don’t end up out of pocket. P&P included in the price in the UK.
