This is a vintage Zeiss Ikon Contaflex 35mm SLR film cameraThis model is the Contaflex Super B (flash-matic)The Contaflex range was first introduced in 1953, various versions where produced, adding many new features, this later more advanced model was introduced in 1963The later models featured interchangeable lenses and this example is supplied with 2 lenses as follows:- Carl Zeiss Tessar 50mm 1:2.8 lens with a chrome BDB filter and Zeiss Ikon rubber hoodPro-Tessar 115mm 1:4 lens with Zeiss Ikon front lens cap and original plastic caseAlso included with the camera is an original leather case, as well as a 20 page Contaflex booklet and the instruction manual for the camera (found after taking pics, so not shown)
The camera is tested and is in full working order; the meter reading is visible from the top of the camera as well as in the viewfinder; the speeds are accurate and the flash terminal worksOptically the lenses are in very good condition, they are clean, clear and scratch and fungus free
Cosmetically the camera and lenses are in excellent condition, with virtually no signs of use, with no scratches, marks or damage The cases have a few scuffs and signs of wearThe leaflet and instruction manual are a bit tatty; the instruction manual has lose pages, but loads of useful information
