The Yashicaflex range of cameras were marketed in parallel to the Yashica range of TLR cameras. It is getting harder to find Yashicas and Yashicaflexes in acceptable condition so good examples should be treasured.This is a Yashicaflex Model C from around 1955 onwards of which 101,431 were made. It has bayonet mounts and an extended film door locking arm which helps prevent the camera tipping forward, and of course the Yashikor taking and viewing lenses.It features auto film stop, a Copal MXV B 1-500 shutter and all the speeds are working as is the self-timer. This is a stunning example as you can see from the photos. The focus is smooth as is the operation of the waist level finder and pop-up magnifier. Serial # 3891276
