This is a vintage Yashica T AF compact 35mm camera.
This is the first of the T* series of point and shoot cameras introduced by Yashica in 1984.
They where a premium camera due to the inclusion of a Carl Zeiss Tessar 35mm 1:3.5 lens.
As well as the excellent quality lens, another useful feature is the flash “off by default” setting, which is only activated if you deploy it.
The camera is supplied with it’s original box, case, instruction manual and lots of paperwork including the original sales receipt for 119.95 dated 30/11/84.
Also supplied with the camera is a Yashica YT-CL close-up adapter, also in it’s original box, with it’s case and instruction leaflet.
This adapter can be mounted on the front of the camera for close-up shots (see photos 10 & 11).
The camera has been tested and is in full working order.
The lens is clean and clear.
Cosmetically everything is in good vintage condition, with no faults or damage.
A good example of this now sort-after retro camera.
