I’m selling my Yashica Mat 124G TLR Camera with Case. The Yashica Mat is a Medium Format film camera that uses 120 film stock. The images that can be achieved look amazing. If you have not shot medium format film before, this is an excellent way to get started! Example photo I took of my daughter on Ilford FP4.
The camera does have a light meter which I have never used as they don’t make the batteries anymore. There are workarounds, but I have never tried them and just used an external meter. If you don’t have an external meter, you can easily download an app for your phone.
The lens is an f3.5 which is great for medium format and means the DoF isn’t too shallow when manual focusing.
I cannot see any scratches or fungus on the lenses.
There is some dirt around the ground glass (viewfinder). This doesn’t impact the image or using the camera in anyway.
I have included a lens cover – this has a tight fit and is one I bought from ebay, it’s not an original Yashica one.
