For sale is a WWI Kodak VPK A-127 (Vest Pocket Kodak) Autographic folding Camera
Known as “The Soldiers Camera”
The camera is complete with metal stylus
Known as Autographic as it comes with a small metal stylus which was used to write on the negative (through a small flap on the case back)
The rear of the camera has a series of Patent dates. The last date recorded is August 28th 1917
It’s fitted with a retractable strut just below the lens for keeping the Camera level when placed on a surface.
The shutter is in good working order. The bellows is also in good condition without holes.
It comes with it’s original leather case (Note: the locking catch is missing from the case)Please study the photos carefully as these form part of the description.
