A rather scarce WALTER TALBOT Berlin ‘Ideal 205’ Folding Plate Camera with a Portrait Wire Frame (No. H 51879) c.1920.
Spec:
* Lens – Ica Doppel 1:6,8 f=13,5cm (No. 635716)
* Shutter – Ica Akt. Ges. Dresden
Condition:
* Exterior – Good throughout, with light cosmetic marks, consistent with age and being well looked after
* Interior – Good with light cosmetic time marks
* Ground Glass (rear) – Very good, clear and unbroken
* Bellows – Good and undamaged, but does have a couple of crease/folds on right hand side
* Lens – Clear & clean with no fungus, scratches etc
* Shutter – Checked and working
* Shutter Blades – A little sticky and do not always close, requires lubrication/clean
* Leather Camera Case – Shows some light wear, but good for year
