Voigtlnder Vitessa T Miniature Camera Lens 1:2/50mm. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

Voigtlander Vitessa L
Manufactured around 1954 this 35mm camera is fitted with a 50mm f/2 Ultron lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter.
The film is advanced, and the shutter is cocked by pressing down on the pushrod visible on the top plate. This is an unusual method of advancing the film, but is actually very quick to use in practice.
The rangefinder is coupled, and the lens focus adjustments are made with a wheel at the back of the top plate. The selenium-cell exposure meter is uncoupled.
The Vitessa L is a very well-engineered camera like most Voigtlander products and the Ultron lens has a well-deserved reputation for sharpness.Left handed patented “Combi-Plunger” film advance and shutter cocking mechanism. The instruction book stresses “Always depress the Combi-plunger as far as it will go and then let it come out completely. At the slower shutter speeds (1/2 and 1 second) wait until the shutter has closed again before depressing the Combi-plunger.”
Once you get used to it, the Vitessa is very fast operating. This is in no small part because photog does not have to move his hands to keep the camera advanced and focused. Your left hand holds the camera and while your left index finger advances film and cocks the shutter. Your right hand holds the camera while your right thumb focuses the camera and you right index finger releases the shutter. Please check delivery prices will be signed tracked and up to 100 compensation Parallax corrected viewfinder, something very unusual in compact folder 35’s. Instead of the brightline parallax system used in Leica M’s, the Vitessa used a masking system which adjusted for parallax.
Focusing wheel on right back of top plate, exactly correct to fall under your right thumb.
Open closed camera by simultaneously depressing shutter release and the Combi-plunger advance. Pull out the lens slightly to lock it into position if necessary.
Close open camera by pushing the lens back into the body at the two red half moon pressure points on the shutter (12 and six o’clock positions). Gently push down advance plunger until it clicks and stays down. This is the trickiest part of Vitessa operation to me. I can’t ever seem to do it, but my friend Tac can do it every time.
Extremely large and convenient rewind lever
