Voigtlander Prominent 35mm Camera with Ultron 50mm f1:2 Lens.
My father, for whom I am selling this camera, frequently referred to this model as one of the stars of his collection. He would take it in his hands and eulogise about its weight, solidity and pocketwatch-like precision engineering quality whilst acknowledging its comparative rarity in its production era camera world of Leica and Contax etc. and theirfocal plane shutters.
For my part I can only describe its obvious quality which is clearly good. It is in fine cosmetic condition, as can be seen in the photos, with little damage, dings or scratches to the body and lens. Has been recently checked over by an independent camera specialist who has confirmed the camera is in good working order although it has not been used for several years. It has a clear viewfinder and an accurate rangefinder. Shutter speeds however seem a bit slow (oily iris perhaps) and there is some slight evidence of light scratches on the front element of the lens.
As the camera has not been used for a while we cannot guarantee full functionality.
