Vintage Voigtlander Ica Folding Film Camera
One old Voigtlander camera that takes photographs on roll film and cut film.
I have tried to research the precise model of this camera but I have been unable to find a perfect match. The closest similar camera I can find is the ‘Icarette’ model. Icarette cameras have their model name written on the camera somewhere. This camera only has ‘Ica’ upon it. The first Icarettes were produced in 1919 and I suspect this camera may have been one of the early models because it does not have the model name on it. The lens is in a dial-set Compur shutter. The shutter settings of T for ‘Time’, B for ‘Bulb’ and ‘I’ for ‘Instant’ suggesting the camera was produced for export. Also on there are the matching settings in German ‘Z’ ‘D’ ‘M’ marked on it, for ‘Zeit’, ‘Moment’, and ‘Dauer’ (duration).
The serial number inside the film chamber is K.97194The Compur shutter mechanism has a number No.627603The lens is a Voigtlander Anastigmat Skopar 1:4.5 f=13.5 cm serial number no. 617947

The camera is in good condition. It has marks and scratches on it’s body and separate backs. Internally the camera is very clean without any signs of wear, tear, damage or ageing. The glass screen has a crack along it’s top edge that has been repaired by clear sticky tape. There is sticky tape on the screen hood.The lense is clean with no marks or scratches. The viewfinder has marks on it and the glass consistent with tape having been applied and removed.The shutter works. The bellows appears to be light-tight.
