Here’s an oddity, ‘Technovision’ were a French company that manufactured anamorphic lenses and were later bought by Panavision, however this mag also features the logo ‘FGV rental’, which is a German rental company in Berlin. So maybe this was originally part of a BLIII kit rented in Berlin for use with anamorphic Technovision lenses, who knows.
One things is for sure though this is an 80’s mag since the BLIII was introduced in 1980, did you know that Return of the Jedi was shot on a BLIII? I doubt this was used on that movie, however one german movie of the period that was also shot on a BLIII is ‘Fitzcarraldo’ whether this was used on that is hard to say, but you never know.
As for the mag itself, film winds ok, but probably better as a piece of memobrabilia that a working mag, unless you get it serviced. short length of film included
look great on a shelf/desk, ideal xmas present for film fan.
