Ilford Sportsman Rangefinder Film Camera – Style 4
Sportsman original is a series of 35mm film viewfinder or rangefinder cameras made by Dacora for Ilford and introduced 1957 to 1959. There are 4 styles (versions) of the original Sportsman camera.
Rangefinder introduced in 1960 and in 1962 other models
Lens: Dacora Dignar 45mm f/2.8
Shutter: Pronto 4-speeded 1/30-1/250 +B and X flash sync.
Everything seems to work as intended, no obvious faults.
Comes with original leather case.
Approx.: 14 cm wide,
7 cm deep,
10.5 cm tall.
660 g in weight.
The camera is in Great cosmetic condition and shows very little sign of it’s age.
Camera is untested with film so is sold as an ornament. That being said the shutter fires as normal and there are no visible light leaks so it is very likely that it still functions as originally intended.
