Forauction here is my VintageOlympus OM10 SLR Film Camera body, plus the manual adapter, and alloriginal box, packaging, and paperwork. I bought this item new andit was my backup spare camera, so has consequently had verylight use. It was packed up for many years in its box, now testedwith fresh SR44’sSilver oxide batteries (included), itappears fully working, but is currentlyuntested with film.

Overallcondition.
Thecamera is an electro mechanical device with built in metering and sodoes require batteries, a freshpair of SR44’s Silver oxide batteries were used for testing and areincluded. The camera body is a metal and polycarbonatecomposite construction. There is no paint loss or damage to the bodycovering, and no sign of corrosion or serious marks or scratches (***See note below), and very few signs of use, so considering its age(37years) its in very good overall condition. **************Pleasenote:-Theonly very slight cosmetic issue that I can see is on the bayonetmount face, there is a scratch on the front face, this was caused bya defective lens adaptor that marked the face. (See image 5). Howeverit is not seen with the body cap fitted, or when a lens is in place,& it had no effect upon the operation of the camera. The onlyother known issue is I would suggest fitting new foam light seals ifthe camera is to be used with film, as these become sticky with age.There are numerous places to obtain light seal kits, and fitting newseals is straightforward and inexpensive.*********AsI only used the camera as a backup camera body it has had a very easylife, and has not been used for many years prior to testing for thislisting. I have not tried to actually run film through the camera forsome years, and when I test fire the shutter the wind on mechanismand film advance works, and the shutter does fully set and fires,whenset on Auto as well as using the manual adaptor. The light meterappears to be operating correctly and reacting to light as expected.
Ipoint out any defects for accuracy of description not because Iwould consider any of them to be a serious issue. Overall the camerawas rarely used, and when unused was correctly dry stored.
Pleaselook carefully at all the pictures as these do form part of thedescription of the camera and its accessories.
