VINTAGE MAMIYA /SEKOR 500 DTL WITHFAST PRIME LENS, MANUAL, ETC. The500 DTL was introduced in January1968. The later DTL dual-metering models of which the oneon offer belongs, introduced a switch beside the lens mount which allowed thephotographer to select between an averaging meter pattern and a”spot” meter (actually a square area marked at the bottom of theviewfinder), with a viewfinder indication of the mode selected. It has ahorizontal cloth focal-plane shutter with a top speed of 1/500th secplus B. In the days ofthe Mamiya 500 DTL, men mounted cameras to flash brackets which held largeflashguns. Shoe-mount flashes were for wimps. So there is no shoe mountfitted. Theexample on offer is fitted with the excellent Cosinon Auto 1:1.8 50mm fast prime lens. Alsosupplied are the Neck Strap & front lens cap ( Prakticar), half case, newbattery and the original Instruction Manual Theoutfit is in excellent condition with unmarked bodies and bright clear opticson the lens and mirror. The viewfinder has a couple of visible specks which donot impinge on the results. Its been cleaned & thoroughly checked, and its all in good working order.
