This 35mm camerawas made by Balda-Werk in Dresden, Germanyin circa 1950.The body is in very good condition with some paint loss to exposed edges as one would expect.The bellows are inexcellent condition alsowith no holes or other damage. The shutter works fine at high speeds 25-300 but does not fire at 1-10, probably through lack of use.This camera has a very unusual feature, abutton on the bottom has to be pressed first to allow the shutter release button to work, even after the camera has been cocked.It has a Schneider-Kreuznach Westar 50mm 3.5 lens, serial No 124673.The lens is scratch and fungus free.The camera comes with the leather case and strap, fully intact and in very good condition, although showing a little wear commensurate with age/use.Being sold on spares/repairs basis due to sticky shutter.Pictures sell!
