Vintage TLR Circa 1948. Flexaret III TLR Meopta Czechoslovakia was originally introduced in 1941. However, production ceased during the Second World War (instead weapon systems were produced). After the War there was a difficulty in obtaining the components. The shutters PRONTO II, COMPUR RAPID & PRONTOR S were German.After the problems with production, the FLEXARET III came onto the market in 1947. FLEXARET III had more variations. This one is with German’s shutter PRONTOR-S, which is a rare version.The year of production for this model is approx 1948Camera lenses are:Taking Lens: Meopta Belar 1:3,5 f=80mm 204596Viewing Lens-MEOPTA ANASTIGMAT 1:3/80 (appears to have dust internally)Shutter is PRONTOR S, with speeds 1-1/300. Camera appears to be in working order. However, this is untested.
