This is a well made mediumroll film camera.  Folding bellows (circa1920s).  An Ensign Carbine camera made bythe Houghton-Butcher Manufacturing Co London.  Considering its age it is in very goodcondition and as far is known in full working order.  Optics look good and all parts work.  Ensign Ensar Anastigmat 100mm f4.5 lens.  Comes with its original sale labels, one of which shows the individual manufacturer’s fitter’s number, leather case andoriginal box.  The ‘serial number’ on the bottom of the box suggests this camera might have been made in 1900 as the date looks like 7/10/0.  There is even an unusedadditional strap.
