1 owner family. The soldiers camera. Vest Pocket Camera. VPK. Made 1912-1926. All parts working exellently complete with original leather case with strap and press stud fastener intact. Its Eastman kodak made in Toronto canada, with the shutter being made in Rochester new york by Eastman kodak also. Camera does everything it should do and all parts complete present and working.range finder converter on flip down lid. Trigger for flip open front works ok. As does chrome knob pull handle to draw out concertina paper body. Its very good and intact. This locks into place and trigger releases ok. The lid stays fold out click into place and unclick with depress. Lever unlock works ok. Its been to 2 wars. And has been a prisoner at one of the stalag p.o.w. war camps complex. and taken photo’s of boxing competitions, parades and shows for propaganda. Also of fellow prisoners. It takes kodak A120 film. The body and back pull apart as they should to fit a film. Film winder is present and works. It has the original pen and access hatch located on the back to write on and date the films/negatives. Its not been serviced or played with as a toy. Its been put away in a draw in a cupboard. Leather case is very good also. The camera and all its workings are quite an amazing piece of kit, very intricate and ahead of its time. Some paint wear to lid edges and case liner needs glued at top edge. I have taken 12 photo-s for you to zoom in on and given you its history. Its condition and workings overall are very very good. Far from top prices soldfor at 30. + p+p. Very very well wrapped and packaged. No more information will be given regarding the soldiers name rank medals or battles sorry about that. I wont release any of the photo’s either at any price.
