Vintage Chinon Pacific 60 SMR XL/Direct Sound Super 8 Cine / Movie Camera & Case.
Introduced in 1978 this fantastic super 8 Cine Camera stayed around for 2 years being made. Very solid and robust these camera’s really stood up to the competition around at the time. Capable of shooting at various frame rates (18, 24 and 36 as well as a single frame picture) and boasting manual and automatic zoom as well as a host of other features this quickly became popular with amateurs and professionals.
This particular example is in very good condition and appears to work just fine with Batteries in. The only issues it has are that the rubber eye piece protector has perished and the battery caddy is missing, both items very easy amd cheap to pickup in ebay.
This one also comes with an external wired microphone for those buddy interviewers 🙂 and is in a lovelly leather hard case with yellow interior.
