The camera has been very kindly donated to St. Giles Hospice.
Firstly, please appreciate that I do not have the photographic expertise nor the required film through which to fully assess the camera’s functionality. Having inserted two compatible batteries (2x AA, not included), though, I have established that the camera powers up successfully, it continues to fire, whilst its battery check, self timer, flash and auto rewind all remain operational. The above aside, no assurances can be provided as to the camera’s functions. Please bear this in mind when bidding.
Structurally, the camera appears to come in a generally sound condition. Be aware, though, that the cover of the battery compartment does not sit quite flush, whilst there is some evidence of rusting to back cover’s internal hinge region. Aesthetically, the camera comes in a fairly good condition for its age, but does nevertheless contain some signs of usage wear. For instance, signs of surface scratching can be observed that are generally quite light, but occasionally more pronounced such as around the battery compartment’s cover. Thankfully, the camera’s lens would appear free from any significant scratching (albeit I may have missed some more minor incidences). Do take note that within the battery compartment some historic battery leakage has occurred and remnants remain from this. Elsewhere, the camera could perhaps benefit from a quick clean from the winning bidder. I have uploaded a number of photographs of the camera, so please do take a close look at these to help make your own assessments regarding its condition.
