I have no idea of the age of this although I remember having it as a gift a long time ago. It was handy to have on occasions as my SLRs were heavy and bulky. It was consigned to a cupboard, as our other old cameras have been as we bought newer items. Everything worked when put away. That was quite a long time ago now. I am not able to test this as a battery would be required.
