This unusual “Kodak” “No. 1 Panoram” camera is constructed of leather covered wood, I can’t find any major splits or damage to the wood or leather, however, it does have the usual scuffs, scratches and loss of finish you would expect from a well used item of this age, but, it has retained a good depth of colour. The nickel plated fittings have retained most of their original finish. The hinged door opens to show the lens which is attached to soft leather bellows, this moves in a 180 degree arc when the lever on top of the camera is moved and latched in to place, the lens release button does work but releasing the lens requires moving the lens with your finger at the same time. The lens is marked “C. P. Goerz Berlin, Doppel Anastigmat, D.R.P. III 94 m/m, No. 89253”.The serial numbers are “3739” to the fold down front and “1480” to the underside of the removeable section. The black impressed writing is clear and vivid to the removeable section. The top section has the original paper label with the film size details. The leather handle is well attached and sturdy. The camera has its’ case, the stitching is in good order, however, one of the anchor points for the handle is broken to one side.

An unusual camera which needs minor TLC to bring it back to its’ full glory and would be a great addition to any camera collection.
