Vintage 1956 Zeiss Ikon Contina 35mm Camera Kit – Lens, Flash, Light Metre, Bulbs
Hi! Up for auction is a vintage 35mm camera made by Zeiss Ikon in Stuttgart, Germany with all the apparatus to go with it in a brown leather bag. All items well looked after in very good condition, but all untested, your responsibility to repair if not. 1.8kg total weight (approx). Lot includes:
Camera: Vintage Zeiss Ikon camera, model Contina, type “LB” (1956), fixed lens, 35mm. Two dials top. Lens marked “Novar Anastigmat ; 1:3.5 ; f=45mm ; Contina ; Prontor SVS”. Groove for flash, tripod screw, socket for selfie wire. Comes in two part hinged brown leather case with fold over popper and tripod screw in bolt. All buttons, dials, levers working and present, shutter working, but untested with film or flash. Lead but no case, surface dirty with spilt glue resinLens: a detached camera lens (obviously not for above camera as that is fixed) marked “3 1/4 inch ; Supar ; f4.5 ; Wray London ; No. 124157”. Wray was a top quality lens maker in the 1950s, lens dusty but no damageFilter: modern lens filter marked “HOYA ; 49mm ; Skylight (1A) ; Japan; Vivitar ; Polarizing ” comes in a vintage leather 1950s shirt collar stud box, marked “Studs” , good clear condition Other: x2 empty aluminium film cases (one has no lid ) marked “Agfa”. x2 red tops of a case and a “Kodachrome” instruction leaflet.Case: All comes and fits into a medium sized brown leather case with red felt interior, elastic straps and a front pocket, with shoulder strap, opens by horizontal zip, slightly disheveled, zip on last legs but working____________________________________________________________________________________________________
