Here is an incredibly rare c1932 aerial camera, made by DeMaria-LaPierre & Mollier in France and complete with original instruction book (in French of course). The format is 13cm x 18cm or 5″ x 7″ so this is huge and very heavy. Naturally there is some wear to the outside. There is no film magazine but the manual has all the dimensions and mechanism shown should you want one made. I have no idea how to operate it but it may require the magazine to do so. The rear focal plane shutter curtain itself is in great condition, it doesn’t look dry and is wrinkle free.
The lens is a beautiful brass body E KRAUSS Paris 26cm f5.6 Tessar design (serial number 111301). The aperture blades appear to be copper, they work perfectly and the glass is excellent! There is no focus as obviously the camera is set at infinity for aerial work..
This is a great opportunity to buy a very rare piece of pre-WWII history as there’s very few of these around anymore, if there’s any at all. You may NEVER see another one for sale!
