USSR Quarz M Clockwork Standard 8 Camera with Accessories and Case
Made by Krasnagorsk, a vintage Quarz M Standard 8mm cine camera from 1965 with a light brown carrying case. Note, not the black case shown in the last pic.
This is a well made camera nicely finished in a hammered grey stove enamel
Cosmetic condition is very good with just a few small marks from use (see pics)The clockwork motor is running sweetly and the camera contains a take up spool should you wish to actually use it.The light meter is showing movement but I cannot vouch for accuracy so again if you wish to use it, it may be wise to compare readings with a known good meter.
The camera comes complete with 4 filters for the taking lens and and what seems to be a neutral density filter that fits over the selenium cell probably intended for incident readings. Usefully (but not obvious) the hand grip also opens to provide storage for two of the supplied filters.It is however missing the plastic surround to the lens opening so I am listing the camera at price that reflects this.A nice collectable built to a standard not found in present day photographic equipment
