Ross Lens 8 x 5 Rapid Symmetrical Mahogany Brass – London
Very early camera circa 1880Extremely rare tropical type Victorian era wet / dry plate mahogany camera in excellent condition.
Very high quality mahogany with brass binding, dovetail joints, connected to the pins,
the original French varnish. Rising front, tilting and reversing back.
Serial number: 7537
Burgundy leather, double extended bellows with square corners in excellent condition for his age.
Mahogany looks like a Spanish and has a beautiful grain in the panels.Complete with Ross lens mounted on lens boards and one original mahogany plate holder.
