ERNEMANN MIGNON KLAPP VP Boxed This isan unusual little VP format plate camera from Ernemann. It was made from 1915,& is quite uncommon. It is a very basic little strut folder, with leathercovered body & black crackle enamelled doors. Thelens is an Ernemann Detectiv Aplanat 80mm f6.8. It is optically clean. Theshutter is speeded25-100 plus O & Z (B&T). It works well. There arefolding sports finders front & rear. Thestruts open & the front standard fits into grooves. The bellows appearsound. There is a ground glass screen under its rear cover. You cannot focusthis camera, so why the screen? Itcomes in its Ernemann mottled green box. Worn but sound. There are three metalplate holders in a case, plus a film pack adapter. Quite an outfit! I sellmy spare cameras as collectibles.
