The postage rates I have quoted are chosen to include tracking and adequate insurance. The overseas rate is to cover Europe. I do not aim to make a profit on postage so if actual costs are significantly less than the amount paid I will make a refund. Alternatively overseas buyers can request an invoice or wait for me to issue one (which I will do for unpaid items when the batch of auctions has finished), I will adjust the postage appropriately on the invoice. I will combine multiple purchases to minimise the postage costs, again best to request or wait for an invoice. I will accept bids from non-European buyers provided they have contacted me first for a postage quote and that they have a good feedback history.
I am selling a second generation Praktiflex camera, it is an example of the 15th model and has serial number 68362. It is fitted with a f3.5 5cm Zeiss Tessar lens, serial number 3232741. The lens is in an aluminium M40 mount.
The camera winds and fires, but it has not been tested with film so it is sold as seen. The shutter curtains look in good condition and the shutter speeds sound OK.. The camera is cosmetically good with just slight rubbing on the top of the waist-level finder and some loss of black paint on the base.
Cosmetically the lens is good. Mechanically the focusing is slightly stiff and the iris works OK. Optically it is quite foggy internally.
I am slimming down a collection of around 300 35mm SLRs of most makes and vintages, so please keep watching for my sales. If anyone has a particular requirement please let me know, if I have an example I can prioritise its listing.
