Serial No: Va 1942918Cosmetically clean but with signs of age and use. Rubbing to black enamel on the hard edges. Only light surface and there are no major scrapes or dings.Leather covering intact and good. I have replaced a circular patch on the knurled film rewind knob. It’s a good match and you may not have noticed if I didn’t mentionViewfinder clear and focus mechanism smooth. The waist level finder has an ever so slight bend on the rear shield. You may just notice it in the last picture. When unfolding the hood you have to wiggle slightly for it to pop up. It collapses back down fine. Probably could easily be straightened.The slow shutter speeds were a bit lazy when I first checked but some exercise has almost got them back correctly. The 1 sec may be about 1.5 but spacing between the speeds seems goodThe shutter cocking lever has lost the little knurled finger press (see pic 1). Doesnt affect the cocking mechanism in any way, just digs into your finger a bit when you cock.Optically very clean with no fungus or haze. There are some light wisps / cleaning marks on the front element which is almost a given on a lens of this vintage. I’m looking through max aperture straight into a halogen light, with a loupe to see them though !Very clean inside the film chamber and the back door lock works wellSelf timer works…. little bit hesitant but okNo lens cap or other accessories
I stress I dont have any history on this and obviously because of age may benefit from a service. Sometimes the shutter mechanisms can be sensitive to temperature and become inconsistent so there are no guarantees
