Selling a fantastic example of a Zeiss Ikon Nettar S (515/2) vintage folding camera with leather carry case. Assembled in Germany from 1933 to 1935, this rare folding Zeiss Ikon Nettar camera is the more sophisticated and sought after ‘S’ model of the 515/2 range, standing for ‘self-timer’ this is visible by the red dot next to the camera lens.

A beautiful hexagonal facade adorns this folding 6×9 camera. It owes its name to its objective, a Nettar open from 6.3 to 22, for a focal length of 10.5 cm. Its shutter offers 3 speeds (1 / 25th, 1 / 50th, 1 / 100th and poses B and T). The camera has an optical indirect vision viewfinder on the lens as well as a frame viewfinder. Uses film format: 120 roll film (69cm exposures). Camera has a working shutter.

The first two photos are stock photos of this camera type, with the following four photos being of the actual camera and camera case being sold.

This camera is obviously used but in remarkably good condition considering its age. The camera comes with a vintage authentic leather carrying case with strap.
