For sale collectable Minox camera made in Latvia, Riga between 1939-1940. I would say that body it’s in pretty good condition for a 80 years old camera-no dents just 3 slightly depper marks (pic.4) and usual light marks/scratches caused by leather case metal zip (pic.2 & 7). There is also few light spots of tarnish (pic.9) that hopefully could be polished off. As far I can see lens looks clean and with no signs of fungus but probably with few tiny dust specs. Viewfinder is nice and pretty clear. It comes with built-in yellow filter (pic.8). Focusing dial turns quite smoothly and film frame counter works fine. Shutter fires but it will require some CLA-it works fine at 1000, 500, 200 and 100 speeds but tends to get stuck open on lower speeds (1/50, 1/20, etc). I tried to take the film out but for some reason it didn’t come out so I left it inside without forcing it. Genuine leather case and modern Minox light meter with 2 chains included. As the shutter is not properly working I’m selling this camera more as a collectable piece, rather than camera you would use on a daily basis.
