I am no expert but I believe that this item assisted with light conditions /time of day/distance etc when taking photos
The disc is in what I say is good vintage condition with only normal signs of wear consistant with age and use
The brown leather case is all complete, but some of the layers have come unglued at the top of one side
Nice vintage collectors item
My last photo just shows a bit of information about a similar vintage concentric indicator, as I have no real Knowledge of the item
