Purma Special camera dating from some time between 1937 and 1951.

All bakelite body, with a surprisingly solid feel to it, designed by Raymond Loewy’s London office (Loewy designed logos for Shell and BP, packaging for Lucky Strike cigs., and the Studebaker Avanti, Hilman Minx and Sunbeam Alpine)

Exposure (fast, medium or slow) is set by holding the camera horizontally or either way vertically. This does not affect framing of the subject because the camera uses 127 film which produces square negatives.

In good clean condition with some very minor wear to the body and case as you would expect of an outfit which is anything from 67 to 81 years old.

Comes with original instruction leaflet.

A camera which looks and works like no other. The perfect Goodwood Revival or other period event accessory.
