This is a vintage Praktica fully manual 35mm film camera
The model is the Praktica PL Nova 1, produced in East Germany by Pentacon in 1967
The camera is supplied with it’s original hard leather case and instruction manual
The camera features an M42 lens mount and is supplied with a Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Domiplan 50mm 1:2.8 lens
The camera has been tested and is in full working order; the speeds are good; it fires a flash via the sync socket and the viewfinder is clean and bright
The lens is in good mechanical order, the optics are free from fungus, with only some minor marks on the front element, which shouldn’t effect the image
Cosmetically the camera and lens are in excellent vintage condition, with virtually no signs of use and only some light lifting of the leatherette on the ends of the door and door opening panel
The instruction booklet is a bit creased but is still usable and the case is in good vintage condition
