A classic 35mm Praktica MTL50 recently unearthed from the depths of the attic. It is in very clean condition cosmetically with no evidence of heavy knocks and scrapes – only wear commensurate with normal use.

Important bit:

The shutter appears to be operating on all speeds, timing unchecked as I do not have the means to do so.

Wind on works.

No assurances can be given as to the effectiveness of the light seals on the back cover – this is a 35 year old camera and these may need replacing.

Self timer lever and start button missing. Camera operates perfecly well without!

Light meter UNTESTED. I do not have a suitable battery available. Condition / operation unknown.

Lens:

Standard f1.8 50mm Pentacon of the period some dust present but no fungus or scratches. Diaphragm operates crisply (often an issue with these lenses).  Focus smooth.

Flash unit needs batteries – probably working.

Rather ugly and very plasticky original ever ready case present but no strap found.

Please note that this camera is untested. Meter operation cannot be ascertained nor light tightness. What you see is what you get – no returns as no assurances are being made regarding its useability.
