This is vintage Praktica 35mm SLR film camera.The model is the MTL3, produced in East Germany by Pentacon between 1978 and 1984.The camera features an M42 lens mount and is supplied with an East German Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Tessar 50mm 1:2.8 Lens.The camera is tested and is in full working order; the meter reacts to light; the speeds are good; it fires a flash; the self timer works and the camera has had new light seals fitted to the door hinge section (battery not included)Mechanically the lens is functioning well, the lens optics are clean, clear and free from scratches and fungus, with only minor age related dust and it is in excellent cosmetic conditionCosmetically the camera is in good vintage condition, it is very clean, with virtually no signs of use, the only things to mention are a small crack and tiny ding on the top plate, neither effect the functionality of the camera at all (see last photo)
