Polaroid SX-70 Model 1 – Refurbished w/ Mint Lens Set and Paperwork.

Born on the 26th of March 1974, this camera was purchased in Germany on the 28th of June 1974 and has since found its way into my collection.
This SX-70 has been fully serviced and lovingly restored to its former mechanical and electrical glory and comes paired with the original German paperwork and a brand new MINT lens set (RRP: 73) which includes: a Fish Eye and close up lens, and a Yellow, Blue and ND filter.
All known electrical and mechanical issues with this camera have been repaired, including those specific to the model 1. This includes: cleaning the camera’s optical sensor to ensure the camera meters as accurately as possible; its mirrors have been calibrated and adjusted; the motor has been cleaned and refurbished; drive train lubricated, and plastic coupler – known to cause issues with the model 1 – has been removed, improving the camera’s reliability.
The camera has been gently cleaned inside and out and is finished in a stylish, custom made, black leather skin.
The camera currently takes SX-70 film available from Polaroid. Sample test pictures shown above. If you prefer, the camera can be converted to shoot on 600iso film for enhanced low light performance for 30.
