Beautiful Paillard-Bolex L8 double 8mm cine camera in exceptional condition and complete with wrist strap, zip-up soft case, original box, paperwork and exposure chart chart plus Focus Press Bolex guide from the period.
This is the later version of the L8 with 4 speeds which dates it to approx 1950
The motor winds and runs at all speeds and the lens barrels, both focusing and aperture,operate smoothly. I am not saying that you could put a film in and produce perfect results but it is all working and makes a splendid display piece from a bygone era of cine photography: Made in Switzerland and an expensive piece in it’s time.
I have tried to show the outstanding condition in the pictures. The chrome and leather are pristine and beautiful.
