The Olympus 35ECR is an automatic telemetry camera.The viewfinder, in addition to the usual parallax marks, hastwo witnesses. By pressing the shutter button halfway down, a yellow lightindicates that the batteries are correct. This yellow light is also visible onthe top of the device. A green light will come on when the flash is needed andthe picture will be taken with the flash. If the flash is ready but the greenlamp does not light, the flash will not fire when shooting.The Olympus 35 ECR has an excellent Zuiko lens of 5 elementsin 4 groups, the same as that which equips the Olympus 35 RC .The Seiko shutter allows exposure times from 4 to 1/800 sec.A small lever on the front of the unit locks the trigger.The flash system is of the flashmatic type.
