The postage rates I have quoted are chosen to include tracking and adequate insurance. The overseas rate is to cover Europe. I do not aim to make a profit on postage so if actual costs are significantly less than the amount paid I will make a refund. Alternatively overseas buyers can request an invoice or wait for me to issue one (which I will do for unpaid items when the batch of auctions has finished), I will adjust the postage appropriately on the invoice. I will combine multiple purchases to minimise the postage costs, again best to request or wait for an invoice. I will accept bids from non-European buyers provided they have contacted me first for a postage quote and that they have a good feedback history.
I am selling a Nikon FM camera, it is serial number 2299722. It is fitted with a f3.5 28mm Nikkor H-C lens, serial number 871834.
The camera winds and fires. The metal shutter blades are undamaged and the speeds sound OK. The delayed action works (after some hesitancy to start with). The LED meter works and gives sensible exposures. There is a little give when you push the rear door perhaps because the seals are missing. The camera is in good cosmetic condition, there is a slight depression on the front part of the pentaprism housing and a little loss of black paint on the film reminder frame (on the back door)
Cosmetically the lens has some signs of light use and is in nice condition. The focusing and iris operations are OK. Optically it appears to be good, with just a small mark on the front coating
This camera and lens is 40 years old and is sold as seen. It is likely that the camera will need a service if it is to be used to take pictures. Please bid assuming this.
