Nikon F2 with DP-1 prism viewfinder + 50mm f2, AI lens.
Here we have a workhorse Nikon F2 camera with 50mm f2 Nikkor AI lens and DP-1 plain prism, so there is no metering.
This camera has character, in other words it’s not in new condition, it’s an all functioning camera .
The shutter works fine and the ruberised shutter blind looks very good. The viewfinder with central microprism screen is bright and clear to focus with.
The body has various nicks and dings, but it works.
The delayed action works.
The film counter works.
The flash synch works.
The Nikkor lens is optically not perfect as it was new, it has the odd optical mark and signs of fungus spots cleaned off leaving coating marks, but hey, these Nikkors perform, even after 40 years of use. The iris is snappy in operation
If you are picky about optics then don’t buy this camera.
