Nettel Camerawerk Double Extension Plate Camera: Serial Number: 58658. C:1910-19. ***Spares Repair***. A camera designed for the serious amateur. Has lateral adjustment and rise and fall. Both working. Shutter works, but on one speed only.
Camera mounts on the focus rails but it is awkward to achieve and the pinch mechanism needs adjustment or repair..
Lens: Nettel Anastigmat F/6.8 – 135mm. Surface of the lens is good. Rear element clean. No haze or fungus. Some particles of dust between elements usual with vintage lenses.
DRP Compound Shutter: Works on 1 speed only.
Diaphragm: Free from oil & functioning throughout the stops.
Camera Body: At over 100 years old now the camera body is very clean and only shows light indications of wear and use. The makera badge which was originally inset on one side of the camera is missing. The camera is not mint, but definitely a very well cared for example. All the chrome is bright. Focus glass complete. Bellows ones mounted extend well and appear light proof. View finder clear & spirit bubble complete.
