MPP Micro Technical 5×4 (Mark V – we believe) Large Format Camera ex. RAF FULL Kit Rare piece History
In Good working order for its age. A real piece of History, please see description for everything included.
This is supplied in a custom made hard wooden box painted in RAF grey designed specifically for its contents and each compartment is lined with a felt type material.
The Kit comprises of the following.
1 x MPP (Micro Precision Products) Micro Technical Camera 5 x 4 Body (Mark V, we are told) with integral leather strap. Appears to be in good condition, the bellows are all fine (see photos).
1 x Wray (London) 184mm LUSTRAR f4.5 Lens #168729 + Compur, Lens Cap & back cap on mounting plate + Metal Hood (some paint loss).
1 x Wray (London) 89mm ANASTIGMAT f6.3 Wide Angle Lens #160379 + Synchro Compur-P + Lens cap + Metal Hood (some paint loss).
1 x Custom Hard box (Bakelite?) 5×4 Slide holder + RAF heavy webbing strap. Holds 6 film holders
1 x Custom Soft Bag to hold camera + strap
1 x Extra strap.
1 x Viewfinder for 89mm Lens
1 x Viewfinder for 184mm Lens.
1 x Hunter Focus Finder/Magnifier
1 x MPP S92 Flash with integral battery holder
1 x Red Glass filter (approx 50mm diameter) in plastic protection case
1 x Yellow Glass filter (approx 50mm diameter) in plastic protection case
1 x Red Glass filter (approx 37mm diameter) in plastic protection case
1 x Yellow Glass filter (approx 37mm diameter) in plastic protection case
4 x MPP original Micro Technical Film Holder 5×4, all complete with 2x dark slides
1 x MPP original 5×4 Plate holder + 2 dark slides
1 x Toyo Cut Film Holder 4×5 + 2 dark slides
1 x Lisco Cut Film Holder 4×5 + 2 dark slides
1 x Unbranded 5×4 Cut Film holder + 2 dark slides
Also has a list of original contents from RAF on inside of Flash holder lid compartment and an equipment label from RAF Cosford as further provenance.
We are not experts on cameras from this era, but are happy to answer any questions. We have not been able to test the camera but the previous owner assures us it is in good working order and the lenses were both professionally cleaned a couple of years ago.
