The postage rates I have quoted are chosen to include tracking and adequate insurance. The overseas rate is to cover Europe. I do not aim to make a profit on postage so if actual costs are significantly less than the amount paid I will make a refund. Alternatively overseas buyers can request an invoice or wait for me to issue one (which I will do for unpaid items when the batch of auctions has finished), I will adjust the postage appropriately on the invoice. I will combine multiple purchases to minimise the postage costs, again best to request or wait for an invoice. I will accept bids from non-European buyers provided they have contacted me first for a postage quote and that they have a good feedback history.
I am selling a Minolta SRT 100X camera, it is serial number 8577583 . It is fitted with a f2.8 35mm MC W.Rokkor lens, serial number 1069703.
The camera winds and fires. The shutter curtains are in good condition and the shutter speeds sound OK. The delayed action works. The metering does not work. The camera is in good cosmetic condition and will look very smart after a clean and polish. There is a screw missing from the top plate to the left of the eyepiece, oddly there is no matching screwhole. A previous owner has scratched their name on the bottom plate.
Cosmetically the lens is very smart. The focusing is smooth and the iris works well. Optically it looks fine.
This camera and lens are 40 years old, it is sold as seen. It is likely that the camera and lens will need a service if it is to be used to take pictures. Please bid assuming this.
