A Minolta SR1-s 35mm SLR, with an Auto Rokkor PF 50mm F/2 standard lens. With its lovely original leather ever ready case.
The 1967 SR1-s is a simple well made fully mechanical SLR, the last of the SR series before the introduction of the SRT. It has no internal metering, the plate on the front is for the attachment of an accessory meter.
The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition with signs of light use, mainly scuffing to the metal finish here and there, no dents or scratches. The light seals and mirror bumper have been replaced. The shutter works on all speeds and the slow speeds sound about right. The focusing screen is clean and bright with a very few dust specks only. The flash terminals operate correctly and film advance and rewind and the frame counter all work properly, as do the mirror lock up and self timer.
The 6 element Auto Rokkor PF lens is in good condition with signs of light use. It has a snappy 6 blade aperture. There’s no obvious haze, fungus or coating damage, but minimal internal dust is present.
With a Minolta front cap, its very nice original leather ever ready case and a shoulder strap.
