This is a vintage Mamiya 35mm SLR film cameraThe model is the Mamiya NC1000s, released in 1978Features include: speeds from 1s to 1/1000 with B; flash sync with a hot shoe or FP and X terminals; a self timer and a Mamiya CS lens mountIt is supplied with an Auto Mamiya-Sekor CS 50mm 1:2 prime lens with a generic lens capThere was an upgrade to the manufacture of the shutter mechanism to improve it’s stability part way through the lifetime of this model, this is one of the later improved camerasThe camera is in full working order; the meter is working (batteries not included), as is the self timer; it fires a flash and focuses well using the split-image microprism in the viewfinderThe lens is in good mechanical order, optically it has fungus present and would benefit from internal cleaningCosmetically the camera and lens are in good vintage condition, with only light signs of use; there is some rubbing on the top plate by the “NC” on the lettering and a few light scratches on the base plateThe covers for the flash sync sockets are still present, which is quite an unusual find
